My daughter is not only smart and pretty - she can bake too! This was a little something she just "whipped up" - pardon the pun - for a weekday dessert.

The First Time Ever I Saw Their Faces (or maybe it was their necks)

This photo was taken at the San Diego Zoo - circa 1972. That's me in the tank top - LOL. My sister Bonnie is in the hot pants - you go, girl! And my "little" nephew was the reason we were there.

This is when I first fell in love with flamingos, although I have an earlier memory of a sighting at the San Francisco Zoo when I was around six.
